Financial director appointed for Manchester’s new Creative Digital Assets Company

Manchester Creative Digital Assets (MCDA), the new company responsible for managing and developing The Space Project, The Sharp Project and One Central Park, has appointed Rob Page (39) as Financial Director.

Rob, will be responsible for all financial aspects of MCDA activities, leading the newly formed financial management team for all three assets funded by Manchester City Council, supporting the planned expansion of the business and co-ordinating financial control and reporting throughout the group.

This follows the recent appointment of Adrian Bleasdale to the position of CEO. Both men will start their newly created roles in the new year.

Commenting on his new job, Rob Page said: “It’s great to be joining MCDA as it enters an exciting phase of growth.  I’m passionate about both Manchester and the creative sector, so having the opportunity to work with Adrian to help shape the growth of these assets and generate fresh employment opportunities for local people is fantastic.”

Prior to joining MCDA, Rob held various senior finance roles within network agencies, most recently as Finance Director of Cheetham Bell JWT.

He has worked in the creative and digital sector for more than a decade and has an excellent track record of managing the finances of some of the City’s top creative companies. Combined our sites have more than 610,000 sq ft of space dedicated to creative, digital and production businesses.  Rob will play a vital role in developing and physically expanding these assets, which are funded by Manchester City Council, to grow the digital, production and creative sectors in the City.”

Rob is originally from Pembrokeshire in West Wales and now lives in Cheadle Hulme near Stockport with partner Maria and their two year old daughter.
